Here you will find ancient manuscripts and translations
of the New Testament, as well as evidence for their original
authorship in Aramaic.
The menu on the left, you will find links on
this site pertaining to the 4 Gospels and Revelation.
These pages utilize
Unicode to display Aramaic, Hebrew, Roman, and Greek
fonts, so you may need a good Unicode font to display
If you see only dots,
squares, or ?'s above for at least one of the languages,
you will need to use a Unicode-enabled browser, and/or
download a proper Unicode font, such as Code2000.

August 20th 2002,
10 days before move-in!
If you haven't guessed already, I'm a freshman in
college this upcomming semester at Rutgers University
(Livingston Campus). August 30th's the move-in date
and I'm as nervous as hell about it, but excited!
Unfortunately, this means that there will be few updates
for the next month (I'll need time to settle in).
Anyways, I have added a new articles section which
lists all of the articles on this site in alphabetical
order, as well as other good articles I've found in
my research on the 'Net. If any links break on me,
please gimme a buzz to let me know! I want to be able
to fix things asap.
Also, sign up for the E-Zine! So far, there is only
one member (not including myself) and I would love
to really get it off the ground (I won't start the
mailings until I have at least 5 people on the list).
Every couple of weeks I'll be sending out an email
to you with the latest finds on the 'Net for Aramaic,
as well as tidbits and whatever other neat stuff I
can ferret out. It'll be fun, it's safe, and you get
an account for my messageboard at the same time (which
is another thing that I'd love if people were to populate)
This website will be moving to the Peshitta.org server
soon, and possibly get it's own domain name, so keep
an eye out for that! :-)
Lastly, soon I will be comming out with a publication
section of this website, where I will be selling copies
of manuscripts (which will be dirt cheap, and also
available for free on my website in Unicode), and
copies of books that I'm writing. First on the list
is a nifty book on Estrangela caligraphy with instructions
and exercises (it's gonna be cool). :-)
Well that's it for this week.
Shlama for now, rakhmai,
August 11th 2002,
Sorry that there haven't been many
updates lately. I'm getting ready to go back to school.
So, as a consolation, I have posted
two more Gospels in Unicode: The Eastern Peshitta
Matthew and Mark.
NEWS FLASH: Also in the news,
a few days ago, Mr. Paul Younan of Peshitta.org
has offered me some webspace for this site on his
server in exchange for helping redo Peshitta.org's
look! This means, no more stupid Tripod popup adds
and the ability to help out one of the best Aramaic
websites on the 'Net! :-)
Life is good :-)
July 28th 2002,
A new Aramaic Websites section. Here
I'm posting my reviews of all of the Aramaic websites
that I have found in my years of study :-)
If there's one that's not up there
that you would like me to take a look at and add,
give me an email and I'll see what I can do! :-)
Also, be sure to sign up for the

July 25th 2002,
Whohoo! Up past the 1000 visitor
mark! More updates are coming soon :-)
July 19th 2002,
Updated all of the lessons currently
up, and I'm adding on to Lesson 3.
Be sure to re-read Lesson 2 for the
romanizations I use! There has been a slight change.
ALSO, keep your eyes peeled for a
new Bookstore section. I'll have all of my picks from
Amazon.com, and soon a series I'm writing on Aramaic
July 10th 2002,
Section 2 is 1/2 of the way up. I
just need to flesh out the remainder of the text.
I have all 4 vowel systems up (complete enough to
learn how to pronounce them) and I'm working dilligently
to finish the dialect marks and finish the other text).
July 3rd 2002,
Feeling inspired by a quick trip
to Peshitta.org, I am now working on my own Grammar
section of this site. I hope you'll enjoy it! :-)
June 25th 2002,
I have just re-posted all of the
Sinaitic Palimpsest of Mark in a printable format
that's easier on the eyes than white on black. Please
be sure to report any errors you spot, for the quicker
I know about them, the quicker I can squash them.
Also, I'm announcing that hopefully
within the next 2-3 weeks my copy of the Crawford
Manuscript of Revelation will arrive from Manchester,
England, and I will begin digitizing it, chapter
Other than that, keep your eyes
peeled for digital Unicode coppies of every version
of the Gospels and Revelation that I can get my
hands on in the meantime. :-)
Also, if you really like this site,
a donation would really be keen (never required,
but always welcomed). :-D
June 20th 2002,
Still working on the
right to left bug :-) I think that I have most of the
articles fixed now. I just have yet to go over Revelation.
After all that is done, I'll be goofing around with
the menu layout a bit.
Also keep your eyes
peeled for the Luke section that's going up soon, for
there will be an article, with conclusive evidence from
the Aramaic, that our Messiah is also God!
